Curi🅐sity Kills

In April 2022, we released our first publication under the Dionysian Public Library branding, the zine Curi🅐sity Kills. The project was a response to the recent implosion of Black Cat Magazine, designed as an act of literary mutual aid to create a space for those who had been slated for publication when that organization folded to still present their work in an alternative form. From poetry to speculative fiction, the zine features cover art by Ami J. Sanghvi and work by J.D. HarlockGeoffrey BuntingSean GoodmanIsabelle Ryan

shimmer

In November we published our first book, shimmer, v.f. thompson's debut poetry collection. Taking inspiration from psychedelic and anarchist philosophy, speculative fiction, and the natural world to weave a tapestry of meditations on change, transition, what it means to both be and become. With original illustrations from Tucker Wooley and Cal Lesnew, shimmer is thompson's chronicle of one series of chemical changes that once crackled through a life.
