The Annals
Here, a complete history of The Dionysian Public Library's works may be found, archived and arranged by publication year.
shimmer by v.f. thompson
In 2022 we published our first book, shimmer, v.f. thompson's debut poetry collection. A meditation on change, transition, what it means to both be and become, thompson draws inspiration from psychedelic and anarchist philosophy, speculative fiction, and the natural world to weave a rich tapestry of imagery and emotion. Covering her year-and-a-half in a house that changed her mind and broke her spirit, it chronicles her journey from who she was to who she will become.
Curi🅐sity Kills
Published in April 2022, our first publication under the official Dionysian Public Library branding, Curi🅐sity Kills, was born out of projects intended for publication in the now-defunct Black Cat Magazine. Standing in solidarity with the publication's vision for sharing writing with an anarchist bent in a new form, from poetry to speculative fiction, this zine features the work of Ami J. Sanghvi, J.D. Harlock, Geoffrey Bunting, Sean Goodman, Isabelle Ryan.
